Alex is an investment analyst with responsibilities in the research and evaluation process for Proffitt Goodson’s equity and fixed income portfolios. Duties include preparation of current and historical valuation metrics for individual securities and sectors, maintenance of valuation models, and regular updates to the investment committee.  Additionally, he monitors general market activity and daily developments that impact the firm’s equity and fixed income portfolios and performs ongoing performance attribution analysis.

Alex holds a Bachelor of Science degree, with honors, from the University of Tennessee - Knoxville with a major in Finance. While at UTK, he worked in the Masters Investment Learning Center where he trained students in the Bloomberg financial terminal certification program.  The Masters Investment Learning Center is a high-technology learning hub that promotes and facilitates business education and research through experiential learning.
